The lease schedule assumes the first installment is paid in advance, i.e. on delivery or collection of the leased item.
Manual Payments:
If you need to change one or more of the payment amounts (eg. extend the first hire payment) then simply add the figure to the applicable month in the manual payment column, then press calculate (above) or recalculate (below). The payments above (if applicable) and below the manual payment figures you have added will automatically update and equal out following recalculation.
Residual Value:
A residual value is normally the approximate value of the goods at the end of the lease agreement. Several criterion are taken into account when establishing a residual value and not all lease agreements have or require a residual value.
Under an operating lease agreement the residual value is not disclosed to the party leasing the goods, under a financial lease the residual value mat well be disclosed.
If the example you choose does not require a residual value then do not complete this box.
We ask that you discuss the parameters of leasing with your accountant if you are contemplating leasing.
